The Bachelor of Technology is a high-quality programme introduced in response to the strong aspirations of the large number of senior secondary and polytechnic graduates working in the local industry to upgrade themselves towards an engineering degree.

These four year programmes are designed for all who wish to strengthen their practical knowledge with theoretical foundation to prepare them to take up more advanced and challenging engineering assignments including industrial research and development, management of high level technical work and also in fields where a solid foundation of engineering knowledge is required. It provides an affordable avenue to pursue a relevant degree course. The modular structure of the course enables students to study and understand in a better manner. These courses are fully accredited by relevant engineering bodies and meet the academic requirements.

Design, which is the heart of engineering, is integrated through various project activities. Non-technical modules introduce students to methodologies of business and management. By providing graduates with a combination of broad-based fundamentals and specialized knowledge, the Engineering Department strives to graduate versatile engineers who would be best positioned to lead in a rapidly changing and increasingly knowledge-based economy

The structure of the B.Tech programmes is designed to meet the following programme objectives:

Course Outlook

B.Tech in all streams is a 4 year course and holds 8 semesters in that span. At the end of every semester an exam is conducted to know the students strength and weakness.
